In this role, the candidate will be responsible for leading projects and user acceptance test related activities for the iComp applications including but not limited to:
- Participates in meetings with Business Analysts, Developers, and Product Owners in understanding requirements
- Reviews and understands project specific requirements
- Analyze Business and Functional requirements, identifying test scenarios based on business process
- Execute Functional and Regression test cases during each release
- Leads and/or participates in the system integrated and user acceptance testing process following procedures to ensure that end-user requirements are met
- Recognizes and identifies areas where user acceptance testing processes and procedures need to be changed or developed
- Works closely with Incentive Administration LOB teams to ensure quality expectations are understood and met
- Schedules and prioritizes work and activities to meet target schedule, quality and scope
- Provide estimates for test planning, test case creation, and test execution
- Write test scenarios and test scripts for each initiative, and review the scenarios/scripts with key stakeholders for feedback and alignment
- Define test environments and test data needs
- Troubleshoot, triage and communicate defects found, and verify fixes align with expectations
- Ensure all test activities are completed per expectations
- Work with Incentive Administration to understand the end to end business process & identify test scenarios
- Identify measurement periods, files and event handling required for each story/production defect per each release
- Prepare files/event handling/new hires in proper format in a timely manner to execute test cases
- Load requirements and test scripts to qTest, link requirements and scripts, pull in test scripts to the proper Test Execution folders for each release
- Update qTest scripts/JIRA stories as testing is performed with actual results and status of testing, load artifacts into repository
- Review test scripts results for accuracy and completeness
- Provide the highest level of customer service in the context of product quality
- Continue to enhance knowledge of the incentive plans as new changes are introduced, including terms and conditions
- Work closely with team members to analyze test results, locate problems, identify root causes and develop solutions
- Actively follow-up with developers on open defects on a daily cadence during release
- Participate in troubleshooting and triaging of issues with different teams to drive towards root cause identification and resolution
- 98% reduction in controllable test defect leakage to production
Qualifications
- Incentive Compensation tools or Oracle HCM/ICM Cloud experience a plus
- Experience with systems conversion Test planning and test execution a plus
- Intermediate Knowledge of testing tools qTest, Jira and Confluence tools
- Advanced Knowledge in creating documentation using Excel, PowerPoint, and Word
- Automation framework, script creation and execution for Selenium Cucumber experience a plus
- Knowledge and experience in working with Cloud based applications is a plus
Required Skills and Experience
- 5 or more years of experience in quality assurance or user acceptance testing
- 1 - 2 years of experience in leading testing projects and scope
- Experience of testing lifecycle with Agile methodology
- Demonstrated experience in test planning, test design and test execution
- Demonstrated experience leading test efforts for Software applications
- Experience with writing, developing, and executing test strategy, test plans & test cases
- Experience with Incentive plans for CWM, Home Lending, Commercial term lending, US Funds, Consumer banking a plus
- Ensure high level of confidentiality of data in all systems
- Ability to react well to change, work with global teams
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills and ability to present test planning and findings to the LOBs, IA and Management
- Strong troubleshooting skills with various applications and data files
