As an integral member of our Hardware team, you will be responsible for designing digital, analog, and power supply circuitry, while closely liaising with RF Engineers during the design of the RF front-end.

As a Cognyter you will:

• Collaborating on development of multi-standard (2G/3G/4G/5G) telecommunications equipment to meet electrical, thermal and mechanical requirements.
• Designing digital, analog and power supply circuitry and liaising with RF Engineers during design of the RF front-end.
• Generating comprehensive block diagrams and circuit schematics.
• Component placement and routing of multi-layer mixed signal PCBs.
• Preparing manufacturing files and documentation for PCB fabrication and assembly.
• Providing engineering support to the PCB manufacturer and assembly house for technical aspects of board manufacturing.
• Assist with prototype board validation and troubleshooting quality issues.

For that mission you’ll need:

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Electronics or related field
• A broad range of design, development and debug skills
• Significant experience with EDA software, preferably Orcad Capture CIS and Allegro PCB Editor
• An endlessly curious mind

Would be considered as an advantage:

• Clear understanding of PCB layer stackups and material properties
• Knowledge of DFT, DFM and DFA PCB design techniques
• Knowledge of EMC Design Guidelines
• Experience of thermal, PI and SI simulation
