Job DescriptionDrives lab systems engineering including the development of solutions to improve lab quality, compliance, and throughput. Drives monitoring, record keeping, and reporting for lab equipment including maintenance, service, calibration, and testing activities. Drives lab execution including engineering analysis, instrumentation, data analysis, and result reporting. Drives procurement of equipment and other lab materials, and development of lab infrastructure. Collaborates with functional teams such as IT, security, and facilities to maintain a successful lab. Develops and coordinates the design, development, and implementation of new ideas, process, and systems for lab improvements needed to meet program deliverables.This will be a role to manage scaled administrative and lab operation tasks. Your responsibilities will include but are not limited to:
- Perform various administrative, organizational, financial, operational, and project-related activities in PG Lab, and/or occasionally in KM Lab.
- Inventory management, equipment maintenance, logistics, procurement, lab infrastructure set up and maintenance, and operations.
- Coordinate with stakeholders to deliver the best-in-class services.
- Drive day-to-day business needs by managing processes and workflows, responding to customers' requests or events as they occur, and performing self/site-initiated audits.
- Ensure the lab control and compliances, and the system of record (SOR) accuracy.
- Attend lab related meetings, participate/drive ad hoc lab activities/projects, and general lab support.
QualificationsQualificationsCandidate must possess the below minimum qualifications to be initially considered. Preferred qualifications are in addition to the minimum requirements and are considered a plus factor in identifying top candidates. Experience listed below would be obtained through a combination of your schoolwork/classes/research and/or relevant previous job and/or internship experience.
- Bachelor's degree in science/engineering (Electronics/Electrical/Computer Engineering/Microelectronics/Telecommunications, or related field).
- Strong verbal and written communication skills, safety minded, and a good team player.
- Excellent problem-solving skills, critical thinking skills, and ability to rapidly adjust to changing priorities.
Preferred Qualification:
- Ex-intern of Intel, exposed to lab work before.
- Knowledge of safety regulations and security protocols in a lab setting.
- Proficiency with computer hardware and software.
- Knowledge and/or experience with data extraction, analysis, visualization techniques, and developing programs to integrate and manage data.
