JD, LL.B., equivalent degree, or equivalent practical experience.
7 years of experience at attorney-level in government, in-house, or at a law firm.
Experience in commercial negotiations, digital music licensing agreements, and with negotiations and support of multi-territorial licensing entities.
Ability to communicate in English fluently in order to negotiate, draft, and analyze licensing agreements.
Ability to travel up to 30% of the time.
Admitted to the bar and in good standing or otherwise authorized to practice law (e.g. have registered in-house status) in any one country in the region in which the position is located.
Preferred qualifications:
Experience with international consumer and data protection laws.
Experience with industry level initiatives in relation to music and copyright.
Ability to communicate in a local Asian language fluently (e.g., Japanese, Korean, Bahasa Indonesia, Hindi, or Mandarin) to negotiate with key regional partners.
