- 5-7 years of experience with Python, system automation, scripting, and development
- Postgres/any RDBMS and Cloudant databases
- software engineering and testing
- 3-5 years of experience with Linux system administration or development
- Good communication skills in English
Preferred technical and professional experience
- 5+ years of experience with RESTful APIs
- Experience with GitHub issue and code management, Ansible, VMware administration, VMware API integration development, vRealize Operations/LogInsights
- 3+ years of experience with Cloud networking, including VMware NSX and IBM Cloud API integration development , Windows Active Directory administration or development
- Windows SQL server administration or development
- Jenkins build and platforms
- Web UI development
- Networking, and network security components, firewalls, gateways
- Secure engineering principles and best practices
- Security standards, authentication, authorization, and encryption protocols
