The role

As part of thisagile team, besides design and implementation of various automation and visualization tools, you will also contribute to implement solutions to address most challenging functional and performance related customer requirements. You will write regression and unit tests for your own code using different programming languages and testing frameworks. You will participate in code reviews and own your code from development through to quality assurance and support.

What you bring

• Experience in front- and backend development

• Experience with scripting languages (e.g. JavaScript, Python)

• Knowledge of (modern) C++

• Knowledge of SQL

• Knowledge of database internals, ideally query processing and optimization.

• Fluency both written and spoken in English

What you’ll do

• Build and improve internal CI/CD/Quality pipeline automation and supportability visualization tools for HANA SQL execution engine.

• Design, develop and test performance or functional relevant features based on product requirements.

• You will use languages like C++, Python, JavaScript, and SQL.

As a Full-stack Developer, you’ll iterate quicklyquery execution engine. Your work will play a crucial role in improving our development experience, customer supportability and quality. You’ll be part of a team that helps ensure we use the most suitable technologies and the right approach to fulfill the most challenging requirements of our internal and external customers for both transactional and analytical workloads (HTAP). You will also work together with various teams in SAP HANA Cloud Database cluster to ensure overall success of our product. Highest quality standards are at the center of our team.
