Minimum qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, a related technical field, or equivalent practical experience.
- 5 years of experience in the manufacturing process and product development for mechanical parts and assemblies for electronics products.
- Experience in one of the following sub-discipline (i.e., sheet metal fabrication, hard tooling fabrication, stamping, riveting, welding, molding).
- Experience with 3D CAD modeling tools (i.e., SolidWorks, Pro/E).
Preferred qualifications:
- Master's degree in Mechanical, Industrial, Manufacturing Engineering, or a related discipline.
- Experience with product data management systems (e.g., Agile, Windchill).
- Understanding of precision sheet metal fabrication processes (e.g., NC punching, press brake forming, hardware insertion processes), hard tooling fabrication processes (e.g., metal stamping), plastic injection molding processes, and electro-mechanical assembly.
- Ability to collaborate with multiple geo teams on complex projects, with excellent communication skills.
