As our Consultant, Digital Engineering you will be part of our Financial Services Technology team – based in Melbourne office.
Your key responsibilities:
- Performing to a high standard on chargeable client engagements such as Support engagement to Insurance client, supported and acted as technology support specialist and resolved many technical issues and owned the onboarding process with team of upwards of 25 agents and 50+ onboarding events across a large time period, as well as performing at high standard for engagement economics involving performing BAU work for client, as well as supporting and delivering internal facing content and training on numerous new processes for team performing on client project, devised demo and utilised show, tell, example, encourage method to deliver training
- Expanding and leading in innovation such as with the AI Taskforce. Performing AI Taskforce Project Management and Scrum master duties for short period of time, as well as performing to enable implementations such as prompt engineering and security research and documentation growth, Designing and presenting new documentation to several stakeholders, as well as developing POCs for Banking and Insurance clients within contact centre, AML and other use cases by leveraging RPA and Contact centre and AI technology.
- Performing software engineer duties on various projects, such as on eCommerce project designing DevOps strategy and execution on continuous integration pipeline as well as designing and implementing Backend APIs in Microservices architecture by leveraging AWS ECS and CodePipeline, and node.js. Acted as scrum master and DevOps engineer as well as participating in Customer Research, retrospective of designs, and documentation, as well as performing UAT and unit testing and devising data safety strategies.
- Participating in and assisting with internal firm projects such as APAC FSO Cloud bootcamp, being the Social Committee leader for the Digital Engineering team, EY Ripples (Corporate Responsibility program) for cleaning up our oceans and providing pro-bono case; Proof Of Concept solution development for strategic Women In Technology client to uplift their data management to include automation and AI, internal strategy for transformative big bets, Women In Technology networking events, internal transformation strategy methodology packs, owning and leading "bench call" squads focused on intensive client transformation. Proof of Concept development, Administration on internal banking platform partner learning and development initiative, and social culture uplift initiatives.
- Assisting and leading creation of Business Development proposals for Banking, Insurance and Wealth & Asset Management clients, enabling resourcing, strategy, proposal pack, performing business case development, advising on software best practices, DevOps and Cloud FinOps, as well as AI best practices for implementation and data security.
- Continuously upskilling and updating own knowledge base, as evidenced by Achieving BCM Investment Banking badge, AZ-104 Certificate, AZ-400 DevOps Engineer Certificate, performing exploratory learning on Java and Banking Platform implementation, and EY Cloud Bronze Learning Badge.
- Continuously networking with team members across Digital Engineering and across locations and developing personal and professional relationships.

The salary for this role is AUD$ 84,420 inclusive of superannuation
