As a Payment Specialist within Manila Payments Team, you will be processing USD payments, ensuring accuracy, and maintaining compliance with internal and external regulations. This role requires strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
Job responsibilities
- Handle end-to-end processing of USD payments, including preparation, verification, and execution.
- Ensure all payments are processed accurately and timely, adhering to company policies and procedures.
- Reconcile payment transactions and resolve any discrepancies promptly.
- Ensure compliance with relevant regulations, internal controls, and company policies.
- Monitor and report any suspicious activities or potential fraud related to USD payments and collaborate with the compliance team to update and maintain compliance-related documentation.
- Address and resolve inquiries from internal and external stakeholders regarding USD payments.
- Provide exceptional customer service by delivering accurate information and timely responses.
- Maintain accurate records of all USD payment transactions.
- Prepare and submit periodic reports on payment activities and metrics to management and assist in audits and provide necessary documentation as required.
- Utilize payment processing systems and software efficiently.
- Identify and suggest improvements to payment processing systems and workflows.
Skills and Experience:
- Graduate with Minimum 1- 2 years of experience in Banks/ Financial Institutions.
- Graduates with good academic record.
- Experience and a working knowledge of various aspects of USD payments, SWIFTS and International Payment Processing Operations.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel.
- Familiarity with payment processing systems and financial software.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- High level of integrity and ability to handle sensitive information confidentially.
- Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
