EXPECTATIONS AND TASKS

• Responsible for development focusing on database tools and cloud services
• In-depth understanding of the entire web development process (design, development, deployment, and testing)
• Develop HANA database admin applications in SAP HANA Cloud Central
• Be responsible for timely and high-quality product delivery
• Co-work with colleagues in North America, China, and Europe

Basic Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science or relevant field
• Good knowledge in data structures, algorithms, database management
• Extensive knowledge on database administration including logging, recovery, and replication
• Strong proficiency in front-end technologies such as JavaScript, Node.js, JAVA, XML, HTML5/CSS3, and modern JavaScript frameworks (e.g., React, Angular, Vue.js)
• Extensive experience with back-end technologies such as Node.js, Python, or Java
• Familiarity with OData, RESTful services, and microservices architecture
• Experience in SQL, Python, Git
• Familiarity with Agile development methodologies.
• Willingness to learn and flexibility to switch to new subject matters quickly
• Excellent team player, self-motivated with strong communication skills
• High proficiency in spoken and written English

Preferred Qualifications (Plus factors):

• Experience in Kubernetes and Docker
• Experience in DB administration or DB application development
• Understanding of UX/UI design principles and experience with design tools like Figma.
• Knowledge of DevOps practices and tools.
• Experience in GenAI/AI techniques and model training
