This role will be part of the IT End User Computing team and have a significantimpact on our IT operations, ensuring the reliability, security, and efficiencyof our systems. You will partner with cross-functional teams to identify andimplement solutions that meet the needs of our organization.
Key responsibilities - Implement and manage Intune, Tanium, and SCCM for device management, ensuring the security and compliance of our IT systems. Utilize Intune, Tanium, and PatchMyPC for software deployment, patch management, and inventory management.
- Plan, execute, and monitor End User Computing infrastructure server upgrades, new servers and decommissioning. Troubleshoot and resolve IT system issues, ensuring minimal downtime and disruption to operations.
- Work with the security team to identify and design measures to safeguard the system against security breaches, prioritizing efforts based on risk
- Develop and maintain scripts for automation and customization of IT processes.
- Work with cross-functional teams to identify and implement IT solutions that meet business requirements. Serve as subject matter expert escalation for Windows desktop issues, partnering with IT support specialists with a variety of complicated technical issues
Key skills and qualifications
- 5+ years of combined experience in the management, administration, and architecture of Windows and Windows MDM tools (Intune/SCCM), Microsoft Enterprise Mobility and Security (Intune, Autopilot & Azure Active Directory), incl. integration with Auto Pilot
- Advanced troubleshooting abilities, including debugging network, security, Active Directory, database, and application issues. Proficiency with server, storage, and network virtualization technologies, cloud-based IT solutions and services (e.g., Azure, AWS, Google Cloud)
- Strong scripting skills, with proficiency in PowerShell or other scripting languages
- Certifications in relevant technologies such as Microsoft Intune, SCCM, or scripting languages
- Experience with the below is a huge advantage: Mac management utilizing Jamf Cloud, Power Bi and/or other reporting tools, managing Linux-based operating systems, familiarity with ITIL best practices.
