Responsibilities:
Responsible for the creation and optimization of the module architecture and system interfaces
Defining technical requirements and aligning on system level
Overseeing complex system requirements and architectural implications
Demonstrating a strong knowledge of problem-solving methodologies and application to complex technical projects
Simulation, modelling and system performance analysis
Working in close cooperation in a multidisciplinary, international R&D team
Encouraging innovations in the team to develop new ideas that can overcome design bottlenecks
Requirements:
PhD in physics or a comparable discipline with experience in relevant work areas
Expertise in the development of high-end electron beam systems
Good knowledge in the field of (ultra) high vacuum and high voltage technology
Broad experience in electron-optical simulations
Experience in the design of experiments and talent for solving complex problems
Technical leadership skills, high level of intrinsic motivation and initiative
Good organizational, communication and project management skills
Experience in micro and Nano-fabrication processes (e.g., MEMS)
