Job Description:

As an Engineering Manager, you will lead a team of 5-10 engineers, driving the strategy for Venmo’s cloud infrastructure and DevOps initiatives. Ensure the scalability, reliability, and security of our AWS-based systems while shaping the platform’s technological backbone to meet growing user demands.

In your day-to-day role you will

Champion Continuous Improvement: Enhance code efficiency, infrastructure reliability, and operational excellence.


AWS, EKS, Docker, GitHub Enterprise, Terraform, GitHub Actions, Datadog, Bash, Python, GoWhat do you need to bring:

Bachelor’s or Master’s in Computer Science or related field.

10+ years in software development, 5+ years with distributed systems (Cloud/DevOps/SRE), and 2+ years in technical leadership.

Extensive hands-on experience with global-scale cloud infrastructure (AWS preferred), IaaS/PaaS solutions, programming (Python, Java, Bash, Go), and container orchestration (Docker, Kubernetes).

Proven track record of mentoring engineers, fostering high performance, and driving results.
