As a Senior Technical Program Manager, you will be responsible for driving operating system contributions to cloud infrastructure across the entire product lifecycle – from planning to execution to running in production. You will work closely with engineering, product management, and partners from across the company to drive outcomes. Required qualifications :
A minimum of a bachelor’s degree in computer science or engineering, or a related field, or equivalent alternative education, skills, and/or practical experience is required.
Minimum of 8+ years’ experience in a software development leader or program/product manager role managing multiple software projects concurrently
Ability to collaborate with partner teams to innovate across a service portfolio and drive transformative change
Identify, onboard, and continuously enhance new data streams, metrics, and reporting capabilities to improve organizational visibility and efficiency
Evangelize standards and tooling adoption to all relevant stakeholders
Create new and support existing solutions and standards
Attribute customer obsession, a learning mindset, strong communication skills, bias for action, and generating energy across a diverse team
2+ years of experience working with global teams in different time zones
2+ years of experience working with Linux in production environments
Preferred qualifications :
Presentation skills with a high degree of comfort with both large and small audiences (Senior Executives, IT management, etc.)
Knowledge and\or experience conducting security or compliance assessments
Knowledge of cloud security, threat modeling, incident response and recovery techniques
Ability to partner closely with cross-functional teams to define, prioritize, and implement features, infrastructure, processes, and workflows
Ability to create and operationalize processes to transform the effectiveness of the organization with respect to meeting business goals
Responsibilities
The job responsibilities include participating in a product management capacity on:
Drive continuous improvement to our organization’s security, compliance, privacy, and risk posture
Define and own key business metrics and KPI/service health indicators
Use data to understand and prioritize initiatives, measure current state, and track attainment of stated metrics
Provide hands-on program management during various phases of the product lifecycle including day-to-day coordination of tasks
Collaborate with internal and external partners to address requirements and drive engineering work
Have an in-depth understanding of technical requirements, milestones, deliverables, and interdependencies for establishing an accurate and effective project infrastructure
Leverage experience and engineering skills to solve problems, fill gaps and achieve objectives through a cross functional team
Accountable for managing risk and resource considerations within security and compliance program
Define and deliver process improvements across the organization(s) and apply process where it creates value, and design process where it is needed
Coach others to push through barriers to find right solutions for the organization; Promote a learning culture
Use program management tools and communication methods to ensure mutual understanding of program plan of record to stakeholders
