所有的雲端工程師都需具備基本的網路概念，例如網路層（OSI 模型）、IP 連接、TCP、UDP、DNS、HTTP，以及如何解決常見的網路連線問題。AWS 的培訓課程將涵蓋這些主題，所以你將在訓練時期更深入學習。

[Developer Mobile, Messaging & Serverless]
- Must have good knowledge of Linux system administration, basic networking concepts and troubleshooting (e.g. TCP/IP, DNS, routing), and common network protocol behaviour (e.g. HTTP, TLS).
- Experience scripting or developing in at least one of the following languages: Python, Ruby, PHP, Java, JavaScript, Go, C/C++/C#
- Knowledge of client/server and distributed systems architecture[Deployment]
- Kubernetes management and troubleshooting knowledge and experience - Experience with container orchestration tools (e.g. Docker, OpenShift, Kubernetes)
- Linux expertise (Ubuntu, CentOS, RedHat) and/or Microsoft Windows Server and associated technologies expertise (Active Directory, Exchange etc.)
- Deep understanding of IP Networking (TCP/IP, DNS, HTTP, SSL/TLS, etc.)
- Troubleshooting skills at multiple levels of complexity[Database]
- Experience in database administration, Structured Query Language (SQL), performing basic optimization and general troubleshooting in any relational database (MySQL, PostgreSQL, Oracle, SQLServer)
- Knowledge of HA & DR for databases
- Understanding of security best practices
- Linux administration and unix shell script expertise[Storage]
- Understanding of Software Defined Storage (SDS)
- Good knowledge of storage protocols such as: iSCSI, NFS, CIFS/SMB, S3
- Experience troubleshooting fileserver protocols, filesystem, and object storage
- Knowledge of large-scale storage architectures and backup/disaster-recovery strategies[Content Delivery/Media]
- Strong understanding of Content Delivery Networks (CDN)
- Understanding of streaming video (H264, MP4, WEBM, HLS, Smooth Streaming)
- Experience working with REST API based services
