Job Title: JAPAN Value Advisor Manager
The Value Adivisor Manager is responsible for managing a team of VA experts that focuses on driving strategic value engagements with customers at all touchpoints throughout the customer’s relationship with SAP. From value discovery to value realization, building and maintaining customer-specific business cases and value assets to quantify and measure value realization. Collaboratively work with regional account teams and customers to link their business strategy and business outcomes to the business models, business processes and business capabilities that are enabled by SAP. Drive customer adoption and consumption by providing value assurance and realization services and updating business cases in line with the customer’s evolving priorities
- As a people manager, the Value Advisor Manager is responsible for supporting the success of direct reports by helping to identify development opportunities and supporting team members to achieve their goals. Act as a role model.
- Lead the Value Advisory business unit in Japan.
- Define and articulate SAP’s executive value selling vision and strategy.
- Oversee and provide executive consultation to customers and prospects, and position SAP solutions to achieve business goals and create value through a holistic model.
- Articulate strategic priorities and qualify addressable market opportunities.
- Leverage strategic partnerships with key decision-makers internally and in partner and customer organizations.
- Represent SAP externally on value management vision and strategic subject matters.
- Coach team members on the creation of customer-centric executive positioning/point of views to excite customer to collaborate with SAP.
- Collaborate with Virtual Account Team to deliver executive pitch reflecting value proposition for industry/LoB and knowledge of SAP portfolio.
- Act as a trusted strategic advisor to nurture customer executive relationships.
- Lead and orchestrate structured engagements and navigate a matrix organization on key customer accounts.
- Position and lead SAP’s engagements to build the case-for-change enabled by SAP solutions on key customer accounts.
- Coach team members on how to build and/or curate value proposition content aligned to end-to-end business processes.

· Management or Strategy consulting/ Value Advisory experience at a senior level
· Experience in technology enabled business transformation projects
· MBA, similar or higher degree
· Experience leading and managing teams
· Ability to travel + 20%
EDUCATION & QUALIFICATIONS
- Bachelor's degree (or equivalent) required, MBA or equivalent recommended
- Fluency in spoken and written Japanese & English
EXPERIENCE
- 10 or more years, of which at least 5 years in leadership positions, in one or more roles such as
- Strategy, business, or technology consulting with engagements in the industry
- Business development and/or value advisory for software or cloud services
- Strategy setting, leading transformation, or P&L responsibility within industry
