IE-IoT Program Management team is looking for a Staff Program Manager to lead camera systems and software activities. Camera solutions are an integral part of our offerings in segments such as Retail, Robotics and Consumer. As the Camera systems and software PM, you will be working with engineering, business and operations teams to establish the plan of record. You will interact with a dynamic global team on abstract problems that require complex analysis.

Role Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with senior leadership to translate strategic initiatives into actionable plans.

  • Establish process and structure to the functions of camera systems and software teams

  • Partner with systems and software leads to evaluate multiple product requests that come in from IoT business segments

  • Establish process to determine priority among evaluations for products

  • Establish feasibility of solutions, create feature requests and transfer execution toglobal sites

  • Lead planning and execution for demos

  • Act as a facilitator/trainer to enable team adoption of tools and processes.

This is an office-based position located in San Diego, CA.

Minimum Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or related field.

• 5+ years of Program Management or related work experience.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • 7+ years of experience in software development or camera systems

  • 5+ years of experience in technical program management in a dynamic and highly technical environment

  • A strong track record in managing complex cross-functional projects in a tech company

  • Experience managing projects across cross functional teams, building sustainable processes and coordinating release schedules

  • MSEE plus MBA

  • Experience defining and achieving KPIs on camera systems and software

  • Deep understanding of the processes, strategies, and trade-offs in chipset and camera pipelines

  • Domain expertise in Linux and Android software development

  • Experience partnering with customers on major projects

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills to successfully engage technical and non-technical stakeholders. Ability to succinctly summarize key findings

  • Knowledge of software and hardware development process and lifecycle

  • Proven ability to multitask and prioritize critical tasks with a high attention to detail

  • Strong meeting management and negotiating skills

  • Experience managing programs across cross functional teams, building processes and coordinating release schedules

  • Experience owning/driving roadmap strategy and definition

  • Program Management - Knowledge of program management methodology (e.g., planning, scheduling, tracking, execution). This includes the ability to effectively use program management tools to carry out the program management function.

  • Risk Management - The ability to identify (e.g., impact analysis) and mitigate risks that impact programs. This includes prioritizing and tracking risks.
