Job responsibilities
- Lead, coach and inspire teams to adopt Lean-Agile mindset, practices and methods, promote open communication and engagement among team members ensuring continuous improvement and alignment with organizational goals, and act as a catalyst of positive change
- Use advanced communication, facilitation, and presentation skills to manage and influence stakeholders while communicating organizational impediments to leadership
- Develop and implement short to mid-term operational and transformation plans, prioritize tasks and manage resources to achieve product goals in a timely and efficient manner through the utilization of metrics and evidence-based decisions
- Identify trends and generate original ideas to contribute to the development of new policies and best practices within the discipline
- Mentors, coaches and supports individuals, teams and the organization across mindset, culture, practices and structure towards organizational adaptability and delivery effectiveness.
- Facilitates highly effective events and sessions for the teams and organization as needed, such as team-of-teams and teams reviews, retrospectives, workshops and training
- Continually builds their knowledge and grows the knowledge of the teams and organization with the latest advancements in agility
- Partners with agile thought leadership across the organization to solve problems and improve organizational agility
- Supports and enables effective approaches for de-scaling and scaling agility ensuring transparency and reduction of handoffs and dependencies across teams of teams
- Supports the removal of impediments to increasing agility and effectiveness for the team and the organization
- Cultivates the health and the effectiveness of teams through qualitative and quantitative measures along key dimensions of culture, practices, mindset and structure, while ensuring appropriate usage of the measures by the teams and the organization.
Required qualifications, capabilities, and skills
- Advanced applied experience or equivalent expertise in a relevant domain, with a focus on coaching teams and individuals on Lean-Agile practices and approaches, and project management.
- Possess advanced knowledge of multiple product development lifecycle stages, methodologies, and best practices, enabling effective guidance and support for teams
- Display advanced knowledge of agile delivery and multiple agile approaches, including Scrum, Kanban, Extreme Programming (XP), and scaling frameworks, monitoring agility metrics; with the ability to guide teams through complex projects, emphasizing iterative progress and adaptability
- Possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage and influence stakeholders at various levels within the organization, effectively guiding group discussions and decision-making processes within the domain context
- Scrum Master and Team Coaching certifications: PSM 2/3, A-CSM, CSP-SM, ICP-ATF, ICP-ACC, ICE-AC
- Deep understanding of the core skills of facilitating, coaching, mentoring, training and leading in Lean-Agile lean context.
- Advanced applied software development experience such as leadership, engineering, or testing.
- Tenured Scrum Master and agile team coaching experience.
Preferred qualifications, capabilities, and skills
- Tools: Jira, Jira Align, Lucidspark, Confluence; or similar.
- Financial Services or regulatory industry experience.
