Job Summary
As a Prospector (Executive Director) at J.P. Morgan Chase & Co., you will be responsible for promoting value for our esteemed clients, overseeing successful launches, and surpassing set expectations. Your main role will involve new business development, where you will enhance new client acquisition through comprehensive knowledge of our robust platform. You will devise strategies to generate new clients and leads, coordinating with specialists across different lines of business to provide interdisciplinary expertise for our most complex clients.
Job Responsibilities
- Develop and execute a strategy to increase our market share in the UHNW segment in South East Asia region; with responsibility for prospecting and acquiring new clients and new assets from new and existing clients
- Responsible for sales and implementation of investment, banking and trust/estate products to core prospects as appropriate
- Leverage and coordinate specialists (Investor, Lending Advisor, philanthropy advisor and Wealth Advisor) to provide interdisciplinary expertise for our most complex clients
- Manage client and prospects profile to ensure the profiles are properly maintained and serviced, specifically adhering to J.P. Morgan Risk Management policies
- Build trust with prospects and clients and effectively manage relationships
- Ensure that the proposed products and services maximize the clients' needs, goals and objectives
- The candidate’s performance will be measured by objectives using specific financial metrics and client satisfaction objectives
- Organize & involved in regional and local events to build the network with UHNW segment in South East Asia
- Work with team members in preparing presentations and proposals, and send out various proposal items to clients on request
Required Qualifications, Skills and Capabilities
- Minimum of 12 years of experience working with Ultra High Net-worth individuals and families or related fields in South East Asia, particularly Singapore
- Strong network with the Ultra High Net-worth individuals, families and entrepreneurs across multiple sectors in South East Asia region
- Prior business development experience including cold calling to develop new client relationships is essential
- Proven sales success including: prospecting, profiling, overcoming objections, negotiation, team selling approach, closing the sale and asking for referrals
- Excellent communication skills, analytical and logical thinking to understand and analyze complex business process, as well as strong organizational and prioritization skills
- Be a team player who shows commitment and dedication, and can maintain a positive attitude and high-level of performance on high-profile/time-sensitive initiatives
- Experience or demonstrated understanding of banking and investments
