We are looking for an experienced Full Stack Data Engineer and Developer with AI and automation background in Amazon Trustworthy Shopping Experience (TSE) Org. You will play a crucial role in designing, developing, and maintaining centralized data products, AI features and advanced self-serve tools. These are integral to transforming raw data into actionable intelligence through advanced data engineering, business intelligence, and GenAI techniques. You will work closely with product managers, data engineers, BIEs, machine learning scientists, and operations teams to ensure the platform meets the evolving needs of our business users. This is a hands-on position where you will be involved in everything from designing and building highly scalable components and cutting-edge features to formulating strategies and directions for data and ML products. You need to be not only an exceptional software developer focusing on the data space with excellent programming skills but also have a strong background in AI/ML, an understanding of data processing and parallelization, and a proven record of delivery. Additionally, you should excel in leadership, customer obsession, and have a real passion for massive-scale computing.
Key job responsibilities
* Design and implement scalable and secure components of centralized data portal, ensuring high performance and reliability
* Integrate real-time data with other services for workflow automation
* Collaborate with team to create intuitive UI and user experiences that facilitate seamless data exploration, interaction and automation
* Keeping your finger on the pulse of the constantly evolving and growing data processing and data lake field
* Stay updated with emerging technologies, AI advancements, and industry best practices related to data engineering and AI-driven Business Intelligence solutions
* Conduct scalability and performance testing to ensure the data portal can handle large volumes of data and concurrent user interactions efficiently
* Integrate the data portal with external systems, APIs, and data sources to facilitate seamless data ingestion, transformation, and integration.
* Delivering systems and features with top-notch quality, on time

- 3+ years of data engineering experience
- Experience with data modeling, warehousing and building ETL pipelines
