What you'll be doing
- Support your business partners in the planning, development, directing, and evaluation of the company's fiscal function and performance. Partner closely with business to incorporate business knowledge into financial forecast, models, etc.
- Support the development of internal processes for timely and accurate analysis of budgets, financial reports, and financial analysis to assist management
- Gathers, analyzes, prepares and summarizes recommendations for financial plans, acquisition activity, trended future requirements and operating forecasts
- Support month-end close process, prepare analyses, monthly reporting package and provide color and insights to the numbers
- Provide strategic and tactical support in the annual operating plan process and assist with ad hoc analytical projects that deliver key insights for making critical business decisions
- Proven track record of success in FP&A roles, preferably in the software/technology industries and proficient in accounting standards
- An outstanding verbal and written communicator in English and Japanese with superb attention to detail and the ability to prioritize and deliver in a fast-paced environment.
- Highly proficient using Excel and Google Sheets
- Hands-on experience with systems like Adaptive, Workday, Salesforce
- Adaptable to change, including adopting a 'growth mindset' to experiment, learn from mistakes and continuously improve
- Strong positive attitude, willingness to learn and good interpersonal skills.
