Responsibilities
- Plan and execute regional and global audit reviews within the ECF team covering multiple LOBs.
- Identify key risks, document process understandings, and evaluate the adequacy of internal controls .
- Assess compliance with enterprise standards applicable to product control areas, financial accounting, financial and regulatory reporting, liquidity reporting or recovery and resolution planning.
- Conduct root-cause analysis of issues identified document these issues and validate that remedial action and key risks have been mitigated.
- Draft good quality audit reports and escalates audit results to business leaders.
- Assess potential for the use of automation in audit testing.
- Prepare high quality audit documentation ( PowerPoint decks summarising scoping and testing strategies and test results) as well as presentations to senior management.
- Independently conducts/oversees issue validations.
- Ability to juggle multiple work efforts and to quickly change direction if required.
Required Experience:
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Business, or a related field.
- Professional qualification, either ACA, ACCA, FRM or equivalent.
- Extensive experience in the product control areas
- Other desired experience relates to accounting, financial, regulatory or liquidity reporting.
