An Software Dev Engineer II (SDE2) for the AWS SDK for .NET obsesses over our customers for AWS and .NET. As and SDE2, you will be responsible for ensuring that AWS .NET customers can easily leverage our 300+ services that we offer here at AWS, build features and functionality for .NET customers, continuously address customer needs to ensure a world-class SDK, and work across the SDK organization to improve our efficiencies so that we can deliver what customers need. SDE2s mentor other engineers, write clear designs, communicate clearly, and work with other teams to deliver software. They can take ambiguous requirements and deliver technical solutions with little oversight.A day in the life

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS

- 3+ years of non-internship professional software development experience
- 2+ years of non-internship design or architecture (design patterns, reliability and scaling) of new and existing systems experience
- Experience programming with at least one software programming language


PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

- 3+ years of full software development life cycle, including coding standards, code reviews, source control management, build processes, testing, and operations experience
- Bachelor's degree in computer science or equivalent
