Job Overview:
In Finance, Market and Credit Risk Technology (FMCRT) we’re pushing the limits of technology. Our products and initiatives adhere to Citi’s strategic architecture principles and support the end-to-end integration of multiple global functions within the bank including Finance, Risk, and Controllers.
Responsibilities
- Design, implement and optimize relational database using Oracle.
- Develop complex SQL queries, stored procedures, functions, and triggers to support data operations.
- Troubleshoot and resolve database related issues promptly to ensure smooth business operations across impacted systems.
- Optimize Tableau dashboards or similar visualization reports by troubleshooting across components to meet performance and scalability.
- Work on data integrity, security, and performance across database schemas to be consistent.
- Integrate data from multiple systems into centralize ODS and reporting marts for a seamless reporting and data flow.
- Work closely with cross-functional teams including analysts, developers and QA to meet timelines and quality standards.
- Analyze database and BI systems performance and recommend improvements to enhance experience.
Qualifications
- 5+ yrs of relevant experience
- Strong proficiency in Oracle, including PL/SQL, database design and optimization. Experience with Oracle tools such as SQL Developer, Oracle Data Integrator.
- Good knowledge of data modelling and schema modelling concepts
- Familiarity with BI/Visualization tools specially Tableau(or Equivalent) including dashboard building, performance tuning and optimizations.
- Exposure to data integration or ETL tools(e.g. informatica, ab-initio, Talend) and processes.
- Familiarity with Scripting ( Python / Shell / PowerShell) languages. Python will be preferred.
- Strong analytical and problem solving abilities.
Education:
- Bachelor's degree/University degree or equivalent experience
- Any professional relevant certifications will be plus
