Key responsibilities
- As a Senior consultant, you will be part of a team of professionals with extensive Supply Chain consulting and industry experience.
- Specific responsibilities include but are not limited to:
- Assist in the delivery of supply chain transformation projects across planning, procurement, logistics, and inventory management
- Apply analytics tools and techniques to assess supply chain performance and identify improvement opportunities
- Support the development and implementation of supply chain strategies using frameworks and digital tools
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather data, conduct analysis, and present findings
- Participate in client workshops, interviews, and alignment sessions to understand business objectives and challenges
- Document and report on project progress, risks, and outcomes in accordance with EY’s standards.
- Contribute to internal knowledge sharing and capability building within the Supply Chain & Operations team
Skills and attributes for success
- Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Engineering, Business Analytics, or a related field
- Experience in supply chain consulting, analytics, or operations
- Proficiency in data analysis tools (e.g., Alteryx, Power BI, SQL, Python) and familiarity with ERP systems
- Strong problem-solving skills and ability to interpret complex data sets
- Excellent communication and presentation skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment
- Exposure to supply chain strategy, segmentation, or diagnostics tools is a plus
To qualify for the role, you must have
- A bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Engineering, Business Analytics, or a related field
- 1–3 years of relevant experience in supply chain analytics
- Familiarity with ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle, etc.) is an added advantage
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment
- Ability to travel as needed to meet project requirements
- Willingness to travel to the Middle East and work according to a Sunday to Thursday working week and support MENA timings (11 AM – 8:30 PM), as preferred (supporting Middle East Clients)
Ideally, you’ll also have
- Customer handling, Report writing, Strong interpersonal communication skills and experience in usage of analytical tools/ representations
