Your Impact
- Responsible for managing, expanding and developing a team of quota carrying sales professionals
- Own and drive revenue outcomes within the assigned region, territories, and/or district, exceeding personal and team sales quotas and goals
- Review weekly forecast and key opportunities, and business outcomes with representatives and sales leaders
- Coach, develop, and mentor representatives to success in all aspects of the sales cycle: lead generation, qualification, forecasting, and closing opportunities, while using our channel/partner network
- Build sales analysis for insight into weekly, monthly and quarterly execution and strategies
- Attend weekly regional forecast and management calls to provide Inside Sales perspective
- Build a cohesive sales & business plan outlining the roadmap to success and define measurable goals enabling you to measure progress
- Work closely with other District Sales Managers on crafting business strategy to accomplish company goals
- Required to stay knowledgeable and up-to-date on product roadmap, industry changes, and competitive landscapes
Your Experience
- Proven track record of individual sales success and strong sales management, together at a min of 15+ years - Preferably experience handling quotas carrying sales team
- Extensive public sector sales experience, preferably in the IT industry
- Established network and adept at cultivating executive-level relationships, particularly within the public sector (e.g. federal level, Bundesbehörden)
- In-depth understanding of decision-making processes at the federal government level
- Proficient in channel and partner sales models
- Consistent achievement of sales goals through effective leadership and personal contributions
- Quick learner with the ability to adapt to evolving technological landscape
- Proven success in hiring, developing, and retaining high-performing sales talent
- Expertise in public sector sales methodologies, with the ability to coach and translate them for others
- Strong interpersonal skills to build cross-functional relationships with clients, partners, and internal teams
- Willingness to travel up to 50% within the region and internationally as needed (e.g., EBCs, corporate visits)
- Excellent communication skills in both German and English (written and spoken)
