Key responsibilities

  • Voice of the audience: Serve as the voice of your target audiences within the wider organisation, advocating for their needs, jobs-to-be-done, and perspectives.
  • Scope of the role: Own the full funnel content strategy for Push Marketing, aligned with all stages of audience lifecycles and product readiness, resulting in personalised and relevant content experiences that can be deployed at scale.
  • Impact of the role: Owns the commercial performance targets of the Push Marketing portfolio, contributing to company success metrics while providing insights and delivering actions to drive annual business targets.
  • Backlog management: Manage, triage and prioritise a backlog of hypotheses and their resulting projects based on expected business impact and relevance to target audiences, while ensuring timely delivery and efficient allocation of resources.
  • Project management: Lead complex projects autonomously, ensuring alignment with stakeholder goals and audience needs. Success here is a direct result of fostering collaboration and alignment across teams, communicating outcomes and learnings, and seeking ways for continuous improvement.
  • Drive innovation: Collaborate with technical and creative teams to drive innovation based on the scientific method, through hypothesis testing and experimental validation. Structure tests and learnings into user stories that serve to further business impact, reduce unnecessary costs and resource allocations, and improve the experience of the target audience.
  • Collaboration: Drive area impact effectively through engaging with and gaining the longstanding support of stakeholder networks from technological, creative, development and design teams - while ensuring their mutual alignment on company goals.
  • Authority: Be the authority of the craft area, and share knowledge and insights effectively with the immediate working group to drive visibility and understanding. This directly involves guiding, consulting, educating and supporting team members.
  • Vendor and budget management: Manage collaboration with third-party providers of technology and creative services, ensuring seamless cooperation and optimal utilisation of their services within budget constraints.

Qualifications and requirements

  • 5+ years of experience in defining, driving and delivering content strategies, preferably in roles with global or multi-region ownership in a B2B context.
  • Native or proficient English (CEFR-level C1 minimum), with demonstrated writing ability in English both on creation as well as editing, across multiple asset types (articles, scripts, websites).
  • Proven experience in capturing, creating, refining, and iterating concepts from ideation to final delivery.
  • Proven experience in managing or coordinating contributors, both internal as well as external.
  • Demonstrable experience in content creation processes and frameworks.
  • Demonstrable attention to detail, with a track record of effectively leading content maintenance and quality control processes.
  • Demonstrable experience in both Push and Pull marketing methodologies, with a high emphasis on Push tactics.
  • Demonstrable numeric fluency and ability to retrieve, analyse, report, and direct analytical findings autonomously.
  • High degree of cognitive and emotional empathy, ability to understand audience needs and produce material that can be deployed at scale.
