Key Responsibilities

• Lead a high-performance software team that is works with multiple layers of firmware and applications from the lowest level drivers to higher layers of specialized stacks or management software

• Coach and mentor the team understanding their strengths and weakness

• Take the lead in project planning and scheduling.

• Participate in technical discussions to synthesize input into an actionable plan

• Review and interpret customerrequirements/specifications

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including hardware design, other software teams, program and product management

• Set yearly plans and goals for the team, give direction on expected performance, provide regular performance evaluations and ongoing feedback.

• Accountable for all department objectives and achieving agreed targets

• Provide recommendations for continuous improvement.

• Work with the team to elevate technical skills and consistently apply best practices.

• Keep up to date with relevant industry knowledge and regulations.

Knowledge/Skills/Competencies

• Project Management - Ability to manage/lead complex engineering projects. Ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously. Ability to work with team that has some remote team members. Ability to work with other teams in Asia

• Leadership: Ability to work with International teams and bridge the communication between India and the United States

• Clear Communication: Proven ability to articulate vision to diverse audience through written documents and verbal presentations

• Technical Background: Knowledge of driver development (Linux, Windows, or VMware ESXi) is required. Knowledge of storage networks, storage enclosure services is a plus.

Experience

• 15 years of related experience with 5 years + years in management preferred.

Education

• Bachelor degree or higher education in Engineering

Compensation and Benefits

The annual base salary range for this position is $146,000 - $234,000.

This position is also eligible for a discretionary annual bonus in accordance with relevant plan documents, and equity in accordance with equity plan documents and equity award agreements.
