Work with team for NPI/VECE project from supplier selection and qualification.
• Participate the new part DFM, spec review and solve material quality problem during new product development and
qualify new parts.
• Responsible for any supplier quality issues of Suzhou in house product from customer, production line and IQC.
• Deal with nonconforming material (both IQC and production rejects) and follow up with supplier for corrective actions
(8D), support for cost of poor supplier quality charge back.
• Leading the new supplier and regular annual audit, process capability assessment by commodity category
• Work with supplier for part CCT (Continuous Conforming Testing) to ensure material function and reliability comply
to spec.
• Drive supplier for continuous improvement on quality, process controls.
• Set up IQC inspection criteria for new part base on requirement and maintain IQC SOP base on need.
• Regular rating supplier performance in terms of quality, delivery, saving and service, regular follow up with critical or
poor quality suppliers for improvement actions• Bachelor or above majoring in Material/Science/Engineering
• Require minimum 5-8 years of experience in SQE function, Six Sigma project experience is plus.
• Expertise in material manufacturing process (mechanical and electrical-mechanicals commodity, familiar with EE
components is plus)
• Good skillset on quality tools (Cpk, SPC, data analysis, 8D approach/problem solving)
• Responsible for material related quality issues, background in material or mechanic engineering
• Good quality planning; team-work attitude; great passion to Supplier Management, ability of working under pressure
(timing flexible for urgent quality problem handling)
• Has experience of managing ODM or Contract Manufacturer is preferred.
