EY-Parthenon – Strategy and Execution - Capital Edge – Senior Associate-Consultant

Your key responsibilities

As a Senior Associate-Consultant in our Edge platform team, you will be a vital member of the team managing and executing operational and technology focused projects. You'll execute and manage projects across all sectors, supporting our client service team in implementing technology to deliver strategies for transactions and transformations. Part of your role will also involve developing experience across a range of different type of engagements, including pre-deal (e.g. operational and carve-out planning) and post-deal (e.g. integration planning, tracking). Having a commercial mind-set is key to this consulting based role.

Skills and attributes for success

· Technology –Hands-on familiarity of cloud, web & mobile technologies, APIs and AI. Working experience with Microsoft Azure SQL, business intelligence platforms (PowerBI, etc) and AI agents.

· Project Management Capabilities –Coordinate the implementation and customization of the Edge Platform to support the need of the projects we support. Work closely with client and EY Parthenon stakeholders to deliver project success.

· Business & Technical Minded –Working in a fast-paced environment, able to convert abstract business requirements from multiple stakeholders and convert them to technical user stories and measurable success criteria and then deliver upon requirements within short sprints

· Change Management & Communication –Champion the adoption of tools and technologies by leading implementation and training strategies to support Clients and the EY Parthenon practices.

· Business Development -assist in aspects of pursuits and project expansion, including demonstrating the Edge platforms and identifying additional areas of automation to our clients and EY Parthenon colleagues.


· Building Relationships –Serve as an advisor on leading practices and capabilities of the Edge platforms at scale across a variety of industries, functions and scope to drive client success and satisfaction.

Identify product and service expansion opportunities for the Edge platform, implementing fast to fail proofs of concepts on engagements and feeding the longer-term product roadmap.

To qualify for the role, you must have

· A bachelor’s degree in Business, Accounting, Finance, Engineering, Computer Science, or Analytics and 2 years of related work experience; or a graduate degree and approximately 18 months of related work experience.

· Must have U.S. Citizenship.

· Excellent analytical skills and the confidence to translate complex data into meaningful insights.

· Experience training and onboarding and supporting users with technology in order to drive adoption of solutions

· Experience leading and managing in complex business environments.

· The ability to make detailed assessments of technology, operations or manufacturing infrastructure.

· The ability to synthesize approaches to complex integration/divestiture conflicts.

· The ability to prioritize effectively on projects and the skills to adapt quickly to new challenges and concepts.

· Excellent negotiation and influencing skills, and the ability to develop long-lasting relationships both internally and externally.

· The ability to understand available technologies and apply them in order to solve business problems

· You must either reside in or be in a commutable distance to your office location for this position.

· The ability and willingness to travel and work in excess of standard hours when necessary. In certain circumstances, travel may be required beyond your work location based on client and project needs.

Ideally, you will have

· A proven record of excellence in a mergers or acquisitions transactions role.

· Experience gained within another large professional services organization.

· Established networking skills in a relevant industry.

· Knowledge of how to leverage firm-approved AI tools in a business setting, including Microsoft Copilot.

  • We offer a comprehensive compensation and benefits package where you’ll be rewarded based on your performance and recognized for the value you bring to the business. The base salary range for this job in all geographic locations in the US is $130,000 to $185,000. Individual salaries within those ranges are determined through a wide variety of factors including but not limited to education, experience, knowledge, skills and geography. In addition, our Total Rewards package includes medical and dental coverage, pension and 401(k) plans, and a wide range of paid time off options.
  • Join us in our team-led and leader-enabled hybrid model. Our expectation is for most people in external, client serving roles to work together in person 40-60% of the time over the course of an engagement, project or year.
