- Design and implement energy-efficient mechanical systems for data centers- Create comprehensive documentation for mechanical designs and operational procedures
- Support continuous improvement through data analysis and system optimization
A day in the life
You'll collaborate with cross-functional teams to optimize mechanical systems, participate in design reviews, and mentor fellow engineers. Your expertise will help create energy-efficient solutions while ensuring operational excellence. You'll engage with stakeholders to understand requirements, analyze data, and implement improvements that enhance our facilities' performance.

- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or related scientific field
- Experience in mechanical engineering design of power delivery systems and cooling infrastructure
- Experience managing supplier relationships in construction projects
- Experience with large-scale industrial or commercial cooling distribution systems
- Knowledge of structural design analysis and equipment safety certification, HVAC manufacturing experience and understanding of lean principles

- Advanced degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field
- Experience with data center design and construction, and sustainable design practices and energy optimization
- Knowledge of building management systems and controls
- Understanding of heat transfer, fluid dynamics, and CFD analysis
- Project Management Professional certification
- Expertise in mechanical system commissioning
- Familiarity with building codes (Life Safety, NFPA, NEC, OSHA)
