What you will do

  • Design, develop, and test new features for the Content service

  • Contribute to the end-to-end delivery of the service - frontend, backend, testing and operations

  • Proactively contribute to improve developer experience by automating processes, improving CI/CD, and keeping the code clean

  • Communicate with peer engineers within your team and Red Hat and mentor junior team members

  • Collaborate with Support, Product Management, User Experience, and Documentation teams

What you will bring

  • Experience developing software professionally

  • Experience programming with Python or Go (preferred)

  • Deep knowledge of frontend technologies (React, TypeScript) and design systems (e.g. Patternfly)

  • Experience with testing UI for example Cypress or Playwright

  • Knowledge and curiosity about how package updates work in Linux

  • Strong problem solving skills with attention to detail

  • Ability to work effectively in a distributed team

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English
