The Solution Architect plays a pivotal role in translating complex client business requirements into tailored technology solutions. Acting as the client’s trusted advisor, the architect leads the design and governance of large-scale systems and processes, ensuring alignment with business goals. This role involves close collaboration with stakeholders, project managers, and account teams to define architecture, validate requirements, and oversee implementation. This is mainly for Automotive and Manufacturing one and requires following points;
Proven experience co-developing solutions with major Japanese OEMs and suppliers, with a strong ability to build trust-based relationships with CxO-level stakeholders.
Capable of leading both pre-sales and delivery across advanced mobility domains such as autonomous driving, AvOps, and Software Defined Vehicles (SDV).

Qualifications

Possesses hands-on experience in designing large-scale systems in the automotive industry, along with a strong track record in driving pre-sales engagements and delivery capabilities as solution architect.
- Brings practical knowledge of advanced mobility development, including autonomous driving, Agent-based digital voice assistant and SDV, utilizing AI and Generative AI.
- Skilled in building executive-level relationships and applying strategic thinking and execution to resolve complex technical and business challenges.
- Bilingual is mandatory. Japanese language is required as native level both oral communication and writing.


Required/Minimum Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in computer science, Information Technology, Engineering, or related field AND 12+ years' experience in technology solutions, practice development, architecture, consulting, and/or technology domain (e.g., Security)

    • OR master's degree in computer science, Information Technology, Engineering, or related field AND 10+ years' experience in technology solutions, practice development, architecture, consulting, and/or technology domain (e.g., Security)

    • OR equivalent experience.

  • 4+ years managing multiple, complex projects or portfolios.

  • 2+ years' experience leading blended, multidisciplinary teams.

Additional or Preferred Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in computer science, Information Technology, Engineering, or related field AND 15+ years' experience in technology solutions, practice development, architecture, consulting, and/or technology domain (e.g., Security)

    • OR master's degree in computer science, Information Technology, Engineering, or related field AND 12+ years' experience in technology solutions, practice development, architecture, consulting, and/or technology domain (e.g., Security)

    • OR equivalent experience.

  • 8+ years technical sales experience.

  • 8+ years project management experience.

  • 5+ years people management experience, including managing consultant practice managers, technical sales managers, and/or technical architect managers.

  • Technical or Professional Certification in Domain (e.g., Security).

Responsibilities

The Solution Architect is responsible for translating the client’s business requirements into specific systems, applications, or process designs for very large complex technology solutions and architectures. You’ll act as an advocate for the client as the ultimate authority on the architecture designed to address client business problems. You’ll provide direction for design activities, often project-based, sometimes working at customer sites.
As a Solution Architect you’ll gather customer/partner insights from a broad range of stakeholders to shape and form both the definition and ongoing execution of projects. You’ll define and document the architecture to communicate the value proposition of the business solution along with the project approach. Collaborating with the Project Manager you’ll jointly drive project/technical governance of the design, build, and deployment into use. You’ll work with the business sponsor and customer/partner stakeholders to gather and ratify requirements and constraints and collaborating with the Account Team and/or Bid Team to understand the business solution/problem. This role is flexible in that you can work up to 50% from home.
