Key job responsibilities
- Develop deep understanding of ordering platforms.
- Design and modify scalable software architecture of full stack systems.
- Work independently to deliver and maintain medium sized features.
- Apply software engineering best practices to the development life cycle (incremental delivery, coding standards, code reviews, source control management, build processes, testing, operations...).
- Engage in continuous prioritisation efforts to balance out fast paced business requirements with long term technical investments.A day in the life- Shipping and reviewing Java and AWS CDK code for new features on IBA systems.
- Focusing on Operational Excellence (development processes, monitoring, code deployment, automated testing, dashboarding...).
About the teamDue to the peculiarities of IBA, we build our own Payment methods, flow of funds, Accounting bookings and make sure that all the compliance requirements are met (invoicing, citation, etc.)

- Experience as a mentor, tech lead or leading an engineering team
- Experience leading the architecture and design (architecture, design patterns, reliability and scaling) of new and current systems
- Experience in professional, non-internship software development
- Experience programming with at least one modern language such as Java, C++, or C# including object-oriented design
- Experience in development in the last 3 years

- Bachelor's degree in computer science or equivalent
- Experience with full software development life cycle, including coding standards, code reviews, source control management, build processes, testing, and operations
