Minimum qualifications:
Preferred qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Mathematics, related technical field, or equivalent practical experience.
- 3 years of experience in one or more languages such as Java, Python, Go, or similar.
- 3 years of experience in managing internal or client-facing projects to completion, troubleshooting clients technical issues, and working with engineering teams, sales, services, and customers.
- Experience with internet facing production-grade applications.
Preferred qualifications:
- Experience refactoring legacy monolithic applications to microservices, APIs, and/or serverless models.
- Experience with DevOps practices, including infrastructure as code, continuous integration, and automated deployment.
- Experience with Devops tools such as Puppet, Chef, Salt, Ansible, Docker, Kubernetes, Mesos, OpenStack, Jenkins.
- Experience in open source server software such as RabbitMQ, Redis, Elasticsearch.
- Experience with unit or automated testing tools such as Junit, and scalable networking technologies such as Load Balancers, Firewalls, and web standards.
