As a Procurement Systems Specialist, you will have the opportunity to tap into your curiosity and collaborate with some of the most innovative people around the world. Here, you will make an impact by:
Being a key member of our Procurement Transformation initiative, involved in Process Design, Data Migration and Change Management.
Working closely with Procurement Process Owners, IT and our stakeholders to ensure an effective and efficient process/system implementation.
Implementing Source to Contract, Procure to Pay and Supplier Collaboration modules of GEP, globally.
Evaluate software solutions to determine if they meet Procurement requirements to fill gaps in our system portfolio.
Supporting Procurement processes / GEP modules after go-live.
Your Skills and Expertise
To set you up for success in this role from day one, 3M requires (at a minimum) the following qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree or higher (completed and verified prior to start)
- Five (5) years of Procurement, Planning or Supply Chain in a private, public, government or military environment
Additional qualifications that could help you succeed even further in this role include:
- Experience with implementing GEP, SAP, Coupa or similar Procurement suite of applications.
- Ten (10) years of Procurement, Planning or Supply Chain in a private, public, government or military environment
- Skills include process mapping, fit/gap analysis, datacleansing/conversion,system configuration and change management.
Work location:
- Hybrid Eligible (Job Duties allow for some remote work but require travel to Maplewood at least 2 days per week)
- Maplewood, MN
