Your key responsibilities
Together with our substantial investments in technology, knowledge, and learning resources for our audit professionals, these enable you to deliver quality assurance services to our clients and their stakeholders as our Assurance senior.
Skills and attributes for success
- Prepare, review and compilation files
- Prepare personal and corporate income tax returns and other tax slips
- Assist managers with material for client presentations
- Understand accounting, and review concepts and apply them to client situations
- Adapt and review methodologies to a range of client types
- Foster an efficient, innovative and team-focused environment
- Use technology to continually learn, share knowledge with team members, and enhance service delivery
- Strong interpersonal skills in order to work with managers, and to coach junior staff
- Prior experience with investment accounting
- Perform any other related duties
To qualify for the role you must have
- University degree or college diploma
- A minimum of three years of experience in accounting and in performing, review and compilation engagements, as well as tax preparation
- Proficiency in Taxprep, iFirm and Caseware
- Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel
- Personal initiative with strong attention to detail
- Ability to deliver in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills to liaise with clients, team members and outside parties
- Flexibility to work additional hours as required
