What you’ll be doing:

• Work with customers to provide deep mechanical assistance in customer Enterprise server.

• System/Rack/Cluster level mechanical architecture design proposal review/discussion.

• Function as the mechanical contact and responsible for communicating with ODM/CM vendors and internal engineer team.

• Failure analysis, troubleshooting, and provide technical risk analysis.

• Overseas travel will be required if needed.

What we need to see:

• BS or MS degree (or equivalent experience) in Mechanical Engineering or a related degree field.

• 7+ years of Server/DataCenter mechanical design experience.

• roficient in CAD tools such as AutoCAD, Autodesk Inventor, SolidWorks, and Creo Parametric (formerly known as Pro/ENGINEER.).

• Familiar with assembly and tolerance analysis.

• Familiar with system/product level characterization and material testing.

• Strong conceptualization and creative problem-solving skills, strong mechanical aptitude, and basic understanding of manufacturing processes in manufacturing processes.

• Will be plus if understanding system cooling installation - Liquid-cooling, immersion cooling and others.

• Excellent communication skills, flexibility in task assignments, and working under pressure.
