The Data/Information Mgt Sr Anlst is a seasoned professional role. Applies in-depth disciplinary knowledge, contributing to the development of new techniques and the improvement of processes and work-flow for the area or function. Integrates subject matter and industry expertise within a defined area. Requires in-depth understanding of how areas collectively integrate within the sub-function as well as coordinate and contribute to the objectives of the function and overall business. Evaluates moderately complex and variable issues with substantial potential impact, where development of an approach/taking of an action involves weighing various alternatives and balancing potentially conflicting situations using multiple sources of information. Requires good analytical skills in order to filter, prioritize and validate potentially complex and dynamic material from multiple sources. Excellent communication and diplomacy skills are required. Regularly assumes informal/formal leadership role within teams. Involved in coaching and training of new recruits. Significant impact in terms of project size, geography, etc. by influencing decisions through advice, counsel and/or facilitating services to others in area of specialization. Work and performance of all teams in the area are directly affected by the performance of the individual.Responsibilities:
- This function covers incumbents responsible for various data activities, which include data reporting, Dashboard design , data analysis, maintenance, data quality, and data design (reporting tables) engineering
- Understand business priorities and work out data driven solutions.
- Independently manage end to end business partner communication. Collaborate with different departments to understand reporting needs to deliver results.
- Accountable for regular reporting & process administration as owner.
- Liaise with different departments to gather requirements and work with tech teams to implement the same.
- Conduct detailed data analysis to identify trends patterns and insights.
- Automate reporting processes to improve efficiency and reduce manual effort.
- May direct day-to-day work of junior level employees, but will not typically have formal management role
- Participate in Periodic Meetings with Manager and Business Partners to share overall status of work, progress, issues
- Contribute to work flow or process change and redesign, and to form a basic understanding of the specific product or process
- Appropriately assess risk when business decisions are made, demonstrating particular consideration for the firm's reputation and safeguarding Citigroup, its clients and assets, by driving compliance with applicable laws, rules and regulations, adhering to Policy, applying sound ethical judgment regarding personal behavior, conduct and business practices, and escalating, managing and reporting control issues with transparency, as well as effectively supervise the activity of others and create accountability with those who fail to maintain these standards.
Qualifications:
- 9+ years of experience in Reporting, Dashboard design, Insights generation and Validation
- Required exp in Data validation, project management.
- Knowledge of analytics and solution implementation.
- Should be on an IC roles
- Proficient in MS Excel, PowerPoint and good understanding in SAS/SQL/Python
- Ability to multi-task effectively and efficiently, comfortable in a fast-paced environment
- Excellent interpersonal skills, Positive and pro-active attitude
- Candidate should have worked in any of the following domain: (Retail Banking , wealth, Lending/liability product)
