Your responsibilities will include, but will be not limited to:
- Developing and maintaining process documentation, including process flow charts, work instructions, risk assessments, and validation protocols/reports.
- Collaborating with cross-functional teams, such as R&D, Quality, Regulatory, and Manufacturing, to ensure alignment and integration of process requirements and specifications.
- Supporting the transfer of new products or processes from development to production, ensuring robust and reliable manufacturing processes.
- Troubleshooting and resolving process-related issues.
- Support to execute and analyze experiments using some of Design for Six Sigma (DFSS) and/or Six Sigma methodologies, such as design of experiments (DOE), to optimize process parameters and reduce variability.
- Utilizing statistical tools and software, such as Minitab, to analyze data and generate reports.
- Keeping up to date with the latest scientific and technological advancements in the field of structural heart and aortic valve replacement therapies.
Required qualifications:
- Bachelor’s Degree in engineering or relevant technical field
- Fluency in English and Portuguese
Preferred qualifications:
- Medical device or other regulated industry experience.
- Demonstrated understanding and usage of statistics to drive improvements.
- Demonstrated strong understanding of problem solving and root cause investigations.
- Demonstrated understanding with Process Verification and Validation.
- Excels in a collaborative, cross-site environment.
- Demonstrated cross functional teamwork in technical environment.
- Open to travel of up to 10% of their time.
