The Role:

Your primary tasks include the design, deployment and continuous improvement of the global network infrastructure. As a project manager you drive global network infrastructure projects, e.g. Office buildouts and technology refreshes to ensure that office network services are delivered and handed over to operations in time and budget. Close cooperation with Regional IT colleagues, Facility management and external planning and engineering agencies will be required to ensure that the network infrastructure and services are delivered in accordance with business requirements and global standards. You will also provide third line incident support and provide knowledge transfer to first level support teams. Additionally, you will work closely with our Managed Service Providers and Vendors to ensure rock sold operation and service improvement.

What you`ll do:

• Drive global infrastructure projects like office buildouts, technology refreshes and rollout of new services. Provide subject matter expertise in the design of network services.
• Responsible for third level incident support and problem management
• Work closely with our Managed Service Providers and Vendors to ensure service meets business requirements
• Investigate new technologies and design and deploy solutions / services
• Coordinate deployment and rollout of new services (Project Management)
• Ensure compliance of infrastructure to global standards and alignment across regional delivery teams

Degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Communications Engineering, or equivalent working knowledge

Technical:

• Project Management Experience
• Experienced in working with facility management and external planning and engineering agencies
• Flexible, self-motivated and able to work independently in a fast paced and multicultural organization.
• “Can Do” attitude and goal orientation

Interpersonal:

• Self-motivated and able to work independently in a fast paced and multi-cultural organization
• Good interpersonal and communication skills. Fluent spoken and written English is a prerequisite; Germany language skills are a plus.
• Excellent collaboration and teamwork abilities
• Flexible attitude towards working hours to work as part of the global team. Occasional shifted hours to accommodate time zone issues is to be expected.
• Ability to communicate directly with end users and customers at various levels of technical abilities with professionalism.

Work experience:

• 6+ years of experience in Infrastructure Project Management.
