SAP NS2 is seeking a Senior PI / PO and CPI Integration Engineer for Innovation and Analytics within the Secure Support CoE (Center of Expertise). This is a hybrid role based in our Newtown square office and will require going into the office once a week on Wednesdays.

Your role involves the delivery of technical and application services within customer engagements. You need excellent SAP Integration skills and capabilities and are a decent problem solver who can communicate effectively in a securitysensitive environment.


GENERAL RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Senior Support Engineer is responsible for leading expert support services on-site and remotely for secure customers.
  • Ability to perform root cause analysis for critical customer support issues and communicate complex recommendations to customer leadership.
  • Work collaboratively within a team on development projects.
  • Lead in customer implementation projects' preparation, conception, realization, and Go Live.
  • Demonstrate the ability to plan, run, and manage blueprint workshops/meetings with internal and external clients.
  • Act as a trusted advisor in the team for any integration project – mainly on CPI AND PO7.x (covering Enablement, Design, Development, Compliance, Testing, and Go-Live).

REQUIRED EXPERIENCE

  • 5+ years of experience with SAP Integrations
  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or Science (in Mathematics, Computer Science, Electronics & Electrical, or other engineering fields) strongly preferred
  • Firsthand Experience with SAP PI/PO, BPM, ALE/IDOC, RFC, WebServices, and SAP Cloud Platform Integration and AIF Framework.
  • Knowledge of SAP Performance/Workload analysis, memory configuration, operations system, and DB/SQL performance.
  • Analyze interfaces between SAP and non-SAP systems based on SAP Integration Technology, including Cloud Solutions.
  • Excellent customer management skills with strong customer-facing experience.
  • Excellent oral and written communications skills in English, with the ability to effectively interact with all levels of customers and management, both internal and external.
  • Ability to work independently and take ownership of assigned tasks.
  • Presentation, communication, and conflict management skills.
  • Familiar with Java troubleshooting like thread and heap dump analysis.

SAP CPI

  • Minimum 3 years of experience in design, build, testing, and troubleshooting integrations.
  • Strong in defining custom (complex) Inflows, local & exception sub-process (preferred to SuccessFactors, Salesforce, Concur, Ariba, ServiceNow).
  • Expertise in Java Mappings, Groovy scripts, XSLT, and graphical mapping.
  • Expertise in handling integrations using SFSF, ODATA, SFTP, IDOC, SOAP, HTTP, Process Direct, and REST Adapters.

SAP PO

  • Minimum 2 years of experience in design, development, and troubleshooting integrations.
  • Preferred with migration experience from SAP PI 7. x to the latest SAP PO 7. x environments.
  • Knowledge of Web Services, XML, XSD, SOAP, JSON, REST, and OData Services.
  • Knowledge of PO connectivity in SAP ERP Systems (ABAP Proxy, HTTP-based protocol, RFC, IDOC).
  • Experience in PO java single stack (setting java system parameters, security setup, and install certificates).
  • Capability of root cause analysis in case of technical errors (experiences in evaluation of trace and logging files)
  • Knowledgeable in Java.
