Key Responsibilities:

• Lead the design and development of SAP solutions, focusing on functional development and enhancement.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather business requirements and translate them into technical solutions.
• Develop and maintain technical documentation, including specifications, functional designs, and test plans.
• Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to SAP functional development and enhancement.
• Utilize SAP BTP tools and technologies to develop, deploy, and manage SAP applications.
• Design and develop SAP Cloud Platform applications using SAP BTP services and development frameworks.
• Design and implement SAP internal and 3rd party integrations, ensuring seamless connectivity and data exchange between SAP systems and external applications.
• Collaborate with external vendors and partners to integrate SAP systems with their applications.
• Act as a subject matter expert in SAP technical architecture, providing guidance and best practices to the development team.
• Stay updated with the latest SAP technologies and trends and evaluate their potential to enhance the existing SAP landscape.

Required skills:

• University degree in Computer Sciences, Business Informatics or a related subject
• At least 3 years of experience in ABAP and Java/Spring Boot and/or JavaScript or similar
• Experience in SAP BTP development, including knowledge of SAP Cloud Platform services and development frameworks.
• Architecture design practice with various interconnected applications, designing highly scalable multi-tenant applications.
• Understanding of Cloud Technology and Security practices
• High performance application design

Preferred skills:

• SAP ABAP, Fiori Elements and/or SAP UI5 development
• Microservices, Containers, Webservices, APIs
• HANA Cloud database
• Understanding of the underlying principles of SAP HANA and related optimization of SAP applications and data models
• Strong interpersonal, communication, negotiation, and problem-solving skills

WORK EXPERIENCE

• At least 5 years of professional experience in software development or support
• At least 3 years of experience as a software architect or similar role
• Work experience in consultancy or customer support
