Job Summary
This position is responsible for publishing content across internal and external knowledge sites and platforms, fostering the successful application of knowledge used by client-serving professionals. The position requires a full understanding of the policies, procedures, processes, technology, and related systems that comprise the firm's content management infrastructure.
Key Responsibilities
- Edits and/or publishes content for various internal and external firm communities
- Supports development of digital documentation for knowledge content creation, repurposing, publishing and/or review as deemed necessary by the community
- Uses technical ability, manages content updates received from a subject matter resource or a team lead, and, with minimal instruction, makes the necessary corresponding changes (e.g., edits, additions, deletions) throughout our content management systems
- Communicates status effectively with team leaders keeping them apprised of project status
- Identifies problems, investigates potential solutions and seeks guidance when necessary
- Reviews and edits digital content for consistency and accuracy
- Applies metadata, tagging, and cross-promotes content to related site sections, homepage areas, webcasts, internal web pages, mobile sites, and electronic newsletters
To qualify, candidates must have:
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent job experience
- 2+ years of relevant work experience
- Ability to understand how a Content Management System (CMS) works and to efficiently learn and apply custom web-publishing and formatting tools
- Familiarity with work management platforms such as Adobe Workfront
- Experience with production technologies such as XML, HTML and CSS is required (while XML is primarily used in this role, familiarity with the other technologies is desirable)
- Ability to perform with a high degree of accuracy
- Ability to adapt to changing priorities and work effectively in a team-oriented environment
- Ability to work independently, with moderate supervision, on projects of moderate complexity and visibility
- Ability to identify and communicate problems
- Proficiency in MS Office tools (e.g., Word, Excel, PowerPoint), as well as a solid comfort level with technology
- Strong communication (both verbal and written) and organizational skills
- Time management skills and ability to meet deadlines
