You will play a pivotal part in helping to support the lifecycle of a trade. Working closely with Business partners, Clients and internal stakeholders to ensure all transactions flow through our front to back Operations teams, with no issues.
You will develop a broad and detailed understanding of the organization’s landscape, culture, processes and Technology.

Responsibilities:
- Own and manage the post-trade Operational relationship for a portfolio of Australian Clients
- Ensure client queries are acknowledged, investigated, and resolved within expected timeframes in line with CITI standards.
- Provide operational solutions and remediations to eliminate /reduce client or Citi pain points & manual touch-points
- Provide clients with clear and concise updates relating to (market events, delays, or technology issues)
- Partner with the Sales, Client Executives, look to understand the front to back needs of our clients with the aim of providing them with the most optimal client experience.
- Conduct regular Client visits and engage in Citi-client operational relationship reviews to obtain insights on improvement areas
- Initiate and drive value-add with strategic partnerships, advisory publications and seminar events
- Partner with the sales and prospective clients to outline CITI client offering to drive further business growth
- Perform analytics to review client performance, make suggestions on how to optimise the clients flow through system and client analysis.
- Understand the product and regulatory environment impacting our client portfolio base along with the group procedures and CITI policy’s.
Essential Requirements:
- 5+ years of relevant client facing experience
- Experience in Financial Organization i.e. Investment Banking / Investment Management / Hedge Fund / Exchange
Market expertise, in at least one of the following Listed derivatives, OTC Clearing/Futures, Prime brokerage, Equites etc.
Client & Relationship Focus:
- Proven experience managing and expanding client relationships in Australian financial services, particularly with institutional equities trading clients.
- Demonstrated ability to grasp client needs, proactively address issues, and provide top-tier service in a dynamic environment. Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, including conducting client meetings and operational reviews.
- Demonstrated ability to build strong working relationships with internal teams (Sales, Client Executives, Prime Brokerage, Technology) for a seamless client experience.
Operational & Market Expertise:
- Strong understanding of the Australian equities market, including trading operations, regulations, and industry best practices. In-depth post-trade operations knowledge (clearing, settlement, custody, corporate actions).
- Proven ability to investigate and resolve operational issues efficiently, minimizing client impact. Familiarity with trading and post-trade technology platforms used in the Australian market.
Analytical & Problem-Solving Skills:
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to analyze client data, identify trends, and develop solutions to improve operational efficiency and client experience. Proficiency in using data analysis tools and techniques.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in a relevant field (e.g., Finance, Business, Economics).
- Understanding of Australian financial services regulatory requirements and risk management principles and relevant industry certifications (e.g., Securities Institute of Australia qualifications).
Market expertise, in more than one of the following Listed derivatives, OTC Clearing/Futures, Prime brokerage, Equites etc.
