About this role:
In this role, you will act as a catalyst for change and innovation, working directly under the guidance of more senior Chief of staff and other top executives. You will help shape our culture and drive forward initiatives that enhance associate engagement, streamline operations, and improve our overall workplace environment.
As a Chief of Staff, you will:
Innovate and Inspire Engagement: Work closely with the senior Chief of Staff and other leaders to design high-impact engagement events and activities that resonate across the organization.
Own Associate Experience Initiatives: Quickly assume responsibility for a range of projects including new hire welcome and onboarding programs, associate recognition programs, associate survey response plans, and campus hire engagement. This role will challenge you to stretch your capabilities and apply knowledge in new ways every day.
Cultivate Strategic Partnerships: Foster relationships across the organization and with our horizontal partners to enhance collaboration and ensure the success of engagement and culture-focused activities.
Drive Creative, Impactful Solutions: With the support of senior Chief of Staff, identify and address key associate engagement challenges within the organization, using your insight and creativity to develop practical solutions that improve how we work.
Analyze, Advise, and Influence: Conduct thorough analyses of ongoing initiatives, draw insights from data, and make recommendations that will inform strategic decisions by leadership.
Skills and Competencies needed
Strong foundational skills in problem-solving, process and/or project management, and stakeholder engagement.
Strong analytical skills with an ability to extract insights from data.
Comfortable in front of senior executives, with a knack for communication and breaking down complex information into easily digestible overviews.
Excellent organizational and time management skills with the ability to prioritize effectively in a fast-paced environment and quickly put structure in place to manage the work.
A proactive, motivated attitude with a passion for learning and personal growth.
A team player attitude with a strong drive to create a positive work environment and enhance team engagement.
Experience managing large events is a plus.
Basic Qualifications
Bachelors Degree or Military Experience
At least 2 year of experience in Process Management, Project Management or equivalent Preferred Qualifications
Preferred Qualifications
Bachelors Degree in business, finance or organizational development
Experience managing cross-functional team members, remove obstacles and influence appropriately
Experience in Communications planning and development, including department communications, leadership team meetings, presentations, memos and reports
Experience in Staff management and training
Experience in Organizational development and performance
Experience in Budget management
Experience with Google tools (Forms, Slides, Sheets, etc)
