Your key responsibilities
- Perform annual financial statements audits under Lux GAAP and IFRS.
- Lead, coordinate, and develop a team of Assistants, ensuring effective execution of audit engagements.
- Build and maintain productive working relationships with client personnel and assess client satisfaction.
- Apply deep understanding of complex accounting and auditing concepts to real-world client scenarios.
- Coordinate on-site fieldwork at client locations, liaising with other departments to ensure smooth audit delivery.
- Translate audit strategy into effective procedures and deliver assurance services efficiently and effectively.
- Use expertise in primary accounting frameworks and EY’s Global Audit Methodology to ensure compliance with auditing standards.
- Responsible for contributing to the delivery of one or more processes, solutions and/or projects by delivering agreed activities, applying judgement, and selectingappropriate methodologies to inform recommendations, considerate of success criteria, barriers, risks, and issues.
- Accountable for meeting own targets which impact the immediate team.
- May help coordinate the work of junior colleagues or team members.
- Meets performance objectives and metrics set locally (client service, quality and risk management, sales and business growth, solution development and teaming etc.)
- Anticipate risk, team effectively across EY and identify opportunities to enhance trust, focusing on:
- Overall audit quality, building deep relationships, and value creation through independence and client understanding.
- Account strategy and delivery, maximizing the possibilities from data and technology
- Higher risk and complex audit procedures.
Skills and attributes for success
- University Degree in Business Administration with a focus on Audit, Accounting, or Controlling; professional certification (ACCA, CPA, etc.) is a plus.
- 3–6 years of experience in Audit; Big 4 experience is an asset.
- Strong knowledge of IFRS and Lux GAAP.
- Experience in consolidation and financial reporting.
- Fluent in English; German and/or French is a strong advantage. Any additional language is a plus.
- Excellent communication skills and a collaborative mindset.
- Organized, flexible, and able to manage multiple priorities.
