Your day to day-

• Champion Best Practices: Advocate for engineering best practices and quality standards across the larger teams and within PayPal,determiningtechnical tasks and mentoring other engineers.

• Design and Implementation: Support the design, implementation, and operational excellence of iOS software components. Proactively improve existingcodebasesand processes.

• Technical Assessment: Conduct thorough assessments of implementation alternatives and their tradeoffs. Provide recommendations for the technical engineering roadmap.

What you need to bring-

• : Bachelor’s orMaster’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.

• : Minimum of 5 years of professional experience in iOS development, with a strong portfolio of released applications on the App Store.

• Technical Skills:

• in Swift and Objective-C.

• Strong understanding of iOS frameworks such as Core Data, Core Animation, Core Graphics, and Core Text.

• Experience with offline storage, threading, and performance tuning.

• Familiarity with RESTful APIs to connect iOS applications to back-end services.

• Knowledge of UI/UX standards and best practices.

• Tools and Technologies: Experience with Xcode, Git, and other iOS development tools.

• Problem Solving: Strong problem-solving skills and a proactive approach to finding and fixing issues.
