What you’ll do

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced (Senior) Software Engineer to join our development team of the Cloud Malware Scanning Service. You will be responsible for designing, developing, and implementing complex software components across global deployments at scale. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand business requirements and translate them into efficient and scalable software solutions.

• Design, develop, and maintain high-quality software applications using Golang and cloud technologies.
• Participate in code reviews, sharing your experience and best-practice knowledge with colleagues.
• Optimize application performance and scalability by leveraging cloud services and technologies.
• Own cloud services end-to-end, implementing distributed systems using cloud infrastructure services and best practices such as zero-downtime production deployments and canaries.
  

What you bring

• You have a bachelor’s degree in computer science, software engineering, or a related field.
• Proven experience as a developer, with a strong understanding of a functional programming language.
• You have exposure to microservices architecture, SaaS.
• Working knowledge of relational databases (e.g. Postgres) and a track record of producing high quality and testable code.
• Demonstrated problem solving and solution building skills and initiative to deliver results.
• Fluency both written and spoken in English.

Tech you bring

Golang (or open to learn it)

Cloud Foundry or Kubernetes will be a plus
