Be a part of a team of Quality Engineers at the (insert site) that applies its expertise and knowledge in finding innovative, cost-effective means to improve quality output and continuous improvements. You will drive process initiatives that ensures compliance with customer requirements, regulatory agencies, government regulations and engineering specifications while instilling site accountability for governance of the Quality System, product acceptance and, product quality.

Ensure that products and processes exceed the Qualityrequirements of the Customer and the Company through continuous improvementthrough the learning and application of new Quality methodologies, coordinatingimprovement activities in production processes in conjunction with othersupport departments.

• Participation with the NPI group representing the client to ensure that projects meet corporate and factory standards and specifications.
• Coordinate the solution of Quality problems related to suppliers and the process through teamwork with the support departments.
• Definition, implementation and validation of process controls to prevent the escape of defects to internal and external customers, either leading or participating as a member of a team.
• Define Quality criteria and communicate them to the support departments to support the continuous flow in the production processes.
• Seek the elimination of waste caused by quality problems by applying lean manufacturing techniques and statistical tools.
• Lead the control of product returns from distribution centers, ensuring a correct process, following up until its correct disposal.
• Likewise, it will evaluate the product from the field with application and/or installation problems, giving a satisfactory response to the customer through corrective actions that impact the permanent elimination of the root cause; being responsible for following up on them.
• Communicate the result of the return analysis to sales reps to be distributed with customers. The Quality Engineer shall not send the reports directly to the client.

• Electronic, Electromechanical or Industrial Engineer
• English C1
• Oral and written communication skills
• + 5 years´ experience
• Minitab experience
• Lean Manufacturing Six Sigma (Green or Black Belt)
• Ability to interpret quality standards, drawings and engineering specifications
• Focused on problem solving and continuous improvement activities.
• Advanced Knowledge of Problem-Solving Techniques (8 Disciplines – TOPS – CAR's – Root Cause Analysis – etc...) at a level that can master the subject and apply it.
• Knowledge of the ISO 9001 quality systems standard.
